This has been created from laser cut wood and acrylic and the image has been sublimated onto the wood. The black acrylic layer is cut in the design of black lace making the over all look a bit dramatic. Our process begins with precise laser cutting of custom shapes from a 3mm sublimation-coated hardboard. The image is then meticulously sublimated onto the custom shape. This process creates a superior end product. Unlike a regular printed image that merely adheres to the surface, our creations undergo a transformative process. Printed on a sublimation printer, the image is heat transferred onto the surface. This heat-induced transformation turns the sublimation inks into a gas, which is then absorbed by the material. The result is a permanent, vibrant print that becomes part of the substrate, ensuring it won’t fade or crack over time.
