This is a lovely brooch of a beautiful Victorian woman who has flower in her hair and just so happens to have a raven or crown on top of her head. This brooch has been laser cut out of wood and the the illustration sublimated onto the wood. This brooch measures 3" tall and 1-3/4" wide. Our process begins with precise laser cutting of custom shapes from 1/8" sublimation coated 1/8" hardboard. The image is then meticulously sublimated onto the custom shape. This process creates a superior end product. Unlike a regular printed image that is merely adhered to the surface, our creations undergo a transformative process. Printed on a sublimation printer, the image is heat transferred onto the surface. This heat-induced transformation turns the sublimation inks into a gas, which is then absorbed by the material. The result is a permanent, vibrant print that becomes part of the substrate, ensuring it won’t fade or crack over time.
